<aside> 💡 Context - I and two of my teammates moved continents to pursue education. Digital communication was our only source to stay connected with family back home. We realised how today although it's so easy to pick a phone and call our loved ones, we’ve lost the essence of real communication. This is why my team managers chose to work on the ‘future of communication’. The topic intrigued me and I decided to join in. Coincidently, Covid-19 hit two weeks after we started working on the project. And people relied more on digital communication.

As the technology evolved, it became easier to communicate with people away from us. Technically the communication gap decreased. But somewhere down the line, it also meant people took it for granted and lost the essence of real communication. This made us question the future of communication.
From using pigeons to send letters to live streaming and video calling people across the globe. We have come a long way, thanks to technology.
Where does digital communication stand in the future if technology advances at this rate?
To build a product that will help bridge the gap between digital and physical communication.
